About...

We're a Community Group consisting of volunteers who organise a big event for our rural village to enjoy and benefit from the proceeds.



Where is it?

On Lyng's Sports Field and at Lyng Village Hall, off Richmond Place, Lyng, Norwich, Norfolk NR9 5RF

Activities, stalls, and attractions are outside on the field as well as an indoor market and Toilets (+ Disabled) in the Village Hall.  

Who benefits from LYNG FLING?

Our committee of volunteers invite local charitable causes to apply for a share of the proceeds raised on the day.  More info on these causes soon.

Stalls & Activities = From £10

Car Boot Pitch = £7 per car - no need to book, just pay on the day!

​Our Terms and Conditions (this is relevant to stall bookings only - not car boot pitches)

  1. All pitches must be booked in advance.

  2. We, the Organisers reserve the right to refuse applications.

  3. Space allocations will be determined by the Organisers. Any special requirements will be accommodated where possible.

  4. All pitches are pre-allocated by the Organisers. Details of allocation will be given on arrival at the event.

  5. Exhibitors participate in LYNG FLING at their own risk. It is the Exhibitor’s responsibility to obtain permission, license and insurance needed by the relevant regulatory bodies and to ensure that their merchandise/equipment is affected to a safe standard. Food stalls must have the relevant Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Insurance certificates.

  6. Exhibitors must construct their own gazebos/stands and are responsible for the safety and worthiness of their constructions.

  7. Exhibitors will be held responsible for any loss or damage that they cause to the event site.

  8. Exhibitors that need electricity MUST bring their own silenced generators which must be kept secured within a safety barrier.

  9. Exhibitors are responsible for the removal of all litter, waste, stand materials etc. from their exhibitor space. There are no waste facilities on site; Exhibitors must responsibly remove their waste off site.

  10. No advertising or promotional material to be erected, displayed or distributed outside the boundaries of the Exhibitor’s stand without the permission of the Organisers.

  11. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in space allocation withdrawal.

  12. All fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be given for cancellation of bookings prior to the event. Booking fees will not be refunded should inclement weather or factors beyond the control of the Organisers affect the event.
